Federal and Provincial Rebates, Grants and Incentives
From time to time various levels of government and utilities offer incentive schemes to encourage homeowners in Ontario to replace their older appliances or heating and cooling systems with more energy efficient Energy Star compliant replacements. Some of these schemes, such as the geothermal rebates, have been extremely attractive with up to $20000 in grants. We have attempted to summarize a few of the more popular current initiatives, but first a small disclaimer. While every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, these rebates are constantly changing and only the official government or utility website can be relied upon for accurate information. Alternatively contact one of our expert team who would not only be happy to provide the latest information but also will assist in ensuring the appliances are indeed compliant and assist with the paperwork to secure the rebates and grants. In many cases we will even make the application on your behalf, all you have to do is sit back and wait for the cheque.
